By:

Arden Theatre Company proudly announces these two productions for their 2011/12 Children's Theatre Season:
Charlotte's Web, adapted from the book by E.B. White, By Joseph Robinette
Robin Hood, by Greg Banks

"We are thrilled that our upcoming season shares two of the greatest stories for children ever told," said Arden's Producing Artistic Director Terrence J. Nolen. "These stories of friendship and loyalty have resonated with kids of all ages for years, and we look forward to bringing them to life on stage with the same high-quality artists and production values we commit to our work for adults."

Charlotte's Web will continue the Arden's tradition of presenting productions for the whole family during the holiday season. Directed by long-time Arden Children's Theatre collaborator Whit MacLaughlin (If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, A Year with Frog and Toad, The BFG), the story of the lovable pig Wilbur and everyone's favorite spider Charlotte, will be on the F. Otto Haas Stage November 30, 2011-January 29, 2012.

An action-packed re-imagining of the legendary hero Robin Hood will take the Arcadia Stage from April 25-June 17, 2012. Matthew Decker (Arden's Associate Producer, Resident Director of Theatre Horizon) will direct this production that includes live music and audience interaction.
