Arden Theatre Company Extends GREAT EXPECTATIONS Through 12/21
Due to popular demand, the Arden Theatre Company announces a one week extension of Great Expectations, based on the book by Charles Dickens and adapted by Gale Childs Daly. Great Expectations, originally scheduled to close on December 14, 2014, now runs through December 21, 2014 at the Arden Theatre Company, 40 N. 2nd Street.
In Great Expectations, Dickens's classic coming-of-age novel comes to life as a cast of six quick-change their way through nearly 40 colorful characters. Pip's encounters with the escaped convict Magwitch, the bewitching Estella, and the eccentric Miss Havisham weave a riveting tale about class, ambition and love.
Single ticket prices are $36-$50, with discounts available for groups of 15 or more, seniors, students, military, and educators. Tickets can be ordered through the Arden Box Office at 215.922.1122, online at www.ardentheatre.org or at the box office, 40 N. 2nd Street in Old City, Philadelphia.
School or other groups interested in a 10am performance on Thursday, December 18, call 215.922.8900, ext. 29. 10am student ticket prices start at $15.
