Austin Pendleton's stunning historical drama about the Booth Family -- America's first First Family of the Theatre -- takes to the Heritage Center Stage. Meet the patriarch Junius Booth, a tormented alcoholic actor, and his two sons, Edwin and "Johnny." To understand the father is to understand the sons. "As the twig is bent, so grows the tree." Starring George Hartpence and Tom Smith. Costarring (alphabetically) Jack Bathke, Susan Fowler, David Swartz, Theresa Forsyth Swartz, Carol Thompson and Ben Weinstein as young John Wilkes Booth. Directed by Cheryl Doyle. Produced by Chuck Donnelly. Stage managed by Jennifer Dzama. Set design and fight choreography by George Hartpence. Fencing choreography by Mark Holbrow. Produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. With new additional content by playwright Austin Pendleton, author of Orson's Shadow.
