A CHRISTMAS CAROL, THE MUSICAL Comes to the State Theatre Tonight

The Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future all agree on one piece of advice. The must see holiday show of the season is the family-friendly A Christmas Carol, the Musical at the State Theatre in Easton tonight, December 12th.

Show time is 7:30 PM. Tickets are $40, $35 and $20 for children 10 & under and can be purchased by visiting the State Theatre Box Office, 453 Northampton Street, Easton, by calling 1-800-999-STATE, 610-252-3132 or online at www.statetheatre.org. The Nebraska Theatre Caravan presents a fully staged musical version of Charles Dickens' holiday favorite. This classic Dickens' tale has become a Yuletide Tradition, with a full array of traditional Christmas carols such as "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen," "Away In a Manger" and "Here We Come A-Wassailing" interwoven within the classic story of a tight-fisted, middleclass merchant Ebenezer Scrooge and all the beloved characters from Dickens' 1843 novel.

This celebrated adaptation by Charles Jones of Dickens' A Christmas Carol is rich with thrilling ensemble music, alive with color and movement and is created to tell this great and enduring tale in a manner that people of all ages will enjoy. Featuring a cast of 24 performers, live musicians, and Broadway-style scenery and costumes, audiences will cherish this annual holiday classic. With a set evoking Currier and Ives prints and featuring special effects such as a spinning bed, this is a glorious holiday evening the whole family can enjoy!
