1812 Productions' THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: THE YEAR IN REVUE to Run 12/9-17

In addition to its original holiday production, The Big Time: New Vaudeville for the Holidays, 1812 Productions is pleased to present a limited engagement presentation of its annual political satire This Is The Week That Is. Originally scheduled for two performances, That Was The Year That Was: The Year in Revue has already been extended due to high demand and will take the stage for four performances at Plays & Players Theatre.

This special concert presentation features performances by This Is The Week That Is veterans Jennifer Childs, Scott Greer, Aimé Kelly, Greg Nix, and head news writer Don Montrey, and welcomes 1812 newcomer Brian Ratcliffe to the piano. Taking on the biggest headlines from 2013, That Was The Year That Was: The Year in Revue will feature original sketch material, musical parodies, and a year-end wrap up from Don Montrey at the newsdesk.

Jennifer Childs will also don her celebrated pink Eagles cap for a visit from Philadelphia's favorite South Philly politico, Patsy. Patsy will be answering questions from the audience and dispensing wisdom from her "stoop on Shunk Street." Additionally, Patsy will address concerns both foreign and domestic and has extended an invitation to the world at large to email her questions in advance of each performance. That Was The Year That Was: The Year in Revue will be performed on Monday, December 9th, Tuesday the 10th, Monday the 16th, and Tuesday the 17th.
