Tracy Morgan at Regal Theatre

US comedian and actor Tracy Morgan, star of NBC’s Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning ‘30 Rock’ and ‘Saturday Night Live’, will tour Australia nationally for the first time in 2013 with his brilliant stand-up show.

Morgan is currently starring opposite Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin as ‘Tracy Jordan’, the unpredictable star of Lemon’s (Fey) hit variety show, ‘TGS with Tracy Jordan’. The role has already earned him an Emmy nomination in 2009 for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.

As a stand-up comic who has headlined across America, Morgan joined ‘Saturday Night Live’ in 1996 where he appeared for seven seasons and created such memorable characters as ‘Astronaut Jones’ and ‘Brian Fellows’. After leaving SNL, Morgan went on to star in his own comedy series ‘The Tracy Morgan Show’, recorded his own HBO special ‘Black and Blue’ and released his first book ‘I Am The New Black’.
