Thongse depicts small portion of aesthetic of Tamang people living in the Hilly region of Nepal. The play begins from the Lhosar festival - also the new year of Tamang where young boy Dorje meets with pretty girl Dolma and he liked Dolma very much thereafter. One day in the next Bazaar Dorje meets Dolma again and he succeed to explain his feeling finally. The become and example couple in the village. Dorje and Dolma starts community farm work from where they become so busy, popular and eventually rich in the village. Suddenly Dorje disappears. Then an image of Dorje exist and tells: criminal activities like abduction, intimidation, rampant extortion and Killings never stops if there is no sustain of law and order.
