The annual celebration, where men sing songs originally written for women and vice versa offering this audience the chance to see LGBT stories told through the great songs of musical theatre, set a new fundraising record. Current star of FINDING NEVERLAND, Tony Yazbeck, took time out of his busy schedule, between releasing his new album and starring as J.M. Barrie, to lend his singing voice to Pix11 Morning News. Check out Tony's rendition of 'Neverland' below! 

Platinum-selling recording artist, Disney star and newly named Covergirl, Zendaya, stole the show in her breathtaking performance of 'Neverland' at The Weinstein Company's 2016 pre-Oscar dinner on Saturday, February 27 at the Montage, Marchesa Ballroom in Beverly Hills. Last month, Zendaya released a music video for 'Neverland,' one of the stand-out songs featured on Finding Neverland The Album (Republic Records), the official musical companion to the acclaimed Broadway production of Finding Neverland.

FINDING NEVERLAND has welcomed its new leading man! Tony Award nominee Tony Yazbeck (On The Town) recently took over the role of Peter Pan creator J.M. Barrie in the smash hit, record-breaking Broadway musical. BroadwayWorld recently stopped by the the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre to check in with Yazbeck about the role and while we were there, he gave us a tour of his new dressing room!

Japan can't get enough of PRINCE OF BROADWAY (see video below), and that's too bad, because there are just five performances left at Osaka's Umeda Arts Theatre. On opening night, after a solid ten minutes of applause after the final curtain, Prince and the rest of the creative team went out one more time. Despite the show's success overseas, an official announcement has not yet been made regrading a run on Broadway... but that hasn't kept us from wondering. So what's next for PRINCE? We're keeping our appendages crossed for an announcement soon and we'll keep you posted with updates!

On the heels of being named the first female African-American principal dancer for the American Ballet Theatre, Misty Copeland joined the cast of Broadway's ON THE TOWN on Tuesday, Augst 25th in the role of 'Ivy'. Copeland will be performing through September 6. The Huffington Post just unveiled a behind-the-scenes profile of her journey from rehearsals to opening night on Broadway, featuring interviews with Misty and her co-star Tony Yazbeck. In honor of Gene Kelly's 103rd Birthday, ON THE TOWN cast members Eloise Kropp and Cory Lingner have recreated the song and dance number 'Main Street' from the film version of ON THE TOWN. Check out the performance below!

Beginning August 25, Misty Copeland will make her Broadway debut as 'Ivy Smith' in the Tony Award nominated revival of ON THE TOWN, continuing in the role through the end of the musical's run on September 6. BroadwayWorld has a first look at Copeland performing the Miss Turnstiles ballet sequence - watch her run the gamut of styles (to perfection) in the number below!

Gene Kelly has been big part of this past Broadway season. Not only did the legendary song and dance man play the original Jerry Mulligan in the 1951 film AN AMERICAN IN PARIS (a role now played onstage by Robert Fairchild), but he also brought Gabey to life on the big screen in 1949's ON THE TOWN (now played by Tony Yazbeck). Though the musical theatre icon passed away almost twenty years ago, his legacy continues to inspire performers everywhere. This Sunday, August 23, would have marked Kelly's 103rd birthday, and to celebrate ON THE TOWN's Cory Lingner and Eloise Kropp put together their own performance of 'Main Street.' Check it out below!
