Long Island's newest theatrical venue The Argyle Theatre presents the Tony Award-winning hit Broadway play Peter and the Starcatcher written by Rick Elice, based on the novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, with music by Wayne Baker at The Argyle Theatre

Bandstand, Robert Taylor and Richard Oberacker's Broadway musical directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton), will bring high-octane, heart-stopping, spectacular dancing to movie theaters nationwide this summer in 'BANDSTAND: The Broadway Musical on Screen.' In addition to the feature content, audiences will enjoy behind-the-scenes and never-before-seen footage of the production.

The producers of Peter and the Starcatcher, the five-time Tony® Award-winning play by Rick Elice, will celebrate the 10th annual International Talk Like a Pirate Day on Wednesday, September 19th, with a special "Stache Day" in honor of their own pirate, Black Stache. On the morning of September 19th, the first 100 fans in line at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street) with mustaches (real or fake!) will receive one free ticket for that evening's performance.
