BroadwayWorld has just learned that at a special CinemaCon event today, Jennifer Hudson performed 'Memory' - Grizabella's soaring second act ballad which convinces the Jellicles to select her to be the cat which is reborn to a new Jellicle life.
On Friday night's episode of 'The Graham Norton Show,' Ian McKellen was a guest. During the interview, Norton brought up McKellen's upcoming role alongside Dame Judi Dench in the musical film adaptation of 'Cats.' This prompted McKellen to show off some of his musical talent.

Producers today announced an online sweepstakes to give PHANTOM 'Phans' the chance to be part of the historic night's invitation-only performance. While many of the evening's details are being kept under wraps, the special night will begin with an early 6:30 PM performance at The Majestic Theatre (247 West 44th Street), the musical's home for its entire run.
