Jacob Keith Watson recently made the move from Arkansas to New York.  In 2012, Jacob won the Lotte Lenya Competition for singing actors.  This past February, Jacob toured Germany performing a Golden Age Broadway concert and in October, he will be performing alongside Broadway stars at Symphony Space in Kurt Weill on Broadway.

The concert will take place tonight, November 4 at 7:30pm (doors at 6:30pm). Ms. Chai will perform works by Satie, Schoenberg, Stockhausen, Scarlatti, Stroppa, and more. When Ben Rimalower was eight years old, his father came out of the closet and embarked on a drug-fueled tear that left his family in tatters. Amid the chaos of his young life, Ben found comfort-like so many gay boys before him and after-in musical theater, and specifically in the transportive voice of Broadway star Patti LuPone. On Thursday, October 11, National Theatre Live will broadcast a live performance of The Last of the Haussmans, a new play by Stephen Beresford and directed by Howard Davies. The broadcasts will be shown at cinemas throughout North America with many encore dates available. National Theatre Live's fourth season continues with The Last of the Haussmans, directed by Howard Davies. Steven Beresford's acclaimed new play is a funny, touching and sometimes savage portrait of a family that's losing its grip. The cast includes includes Julie Walters, Rory Kinnear and Helen McCrory. The darkly comic drama is completely sold out at the National Theatre.

Billy Jonas and His Band will perform at Symphony Space on Saturday, April 21st at 11 am in celebration of Earth Day. Ticket prices range from $11 to $20. Watch a video of the musician perform with Alison Krauss below!

This year's Broadway Beauty Pageant took place last night, March 19th, at Symphony Space. The popular event is the annual benefit of New York's Ali Forney Center.
