THE LAST SHIP - the new musical with music and lyrics by 16-time Grammy Award-winner Sting and book by Tony Award winner John Logan and Pulitzer Prize-winner Brian Yorkey opened last night, October 26. The Last Ship is directed by Tony Award winner Joe Mantello and choreographed by Olivier Award winner and Tony Award nominee Steven Hoggett. Sting and the cast of the new musical THE LAST SHIP stood in front of 52nd Street's Neil Simon Theatre just moments before the new production officially opened, to serenade their 'Jersey Boys' counterparts across the street with a new rendition of the classic Police song 'Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic.'

Sting will stop by tonight's episode of Bravo's Inside the Actors Studio with host James Lipton to talk about his new Broadway musical THE LAST SHIP.

Last Saturday night The cast of JERSEY BOYS welcomed THE LAST SHIP to Broadway. So last night, the cast of THE LAST SHIP serenaded their neighbor on 52nd street with a rendition of Lionel Richie's 'All Night Long' led by 16-time GrammyAward-winner Sting.

Following last night's preview performance of The Last Ship on Broadway, the show's composer and lyricist Sting came onstage for a birthday surprise (he turned 63 yesterday). Watch him sing 'Jock The Singing Welder' below!

At this year's TED Conference in Vancouver, Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter/composer Sting took to the stage to perform songs from his Broadway-bound musical THE LAST SHIP. During this taped performance, Sting talks about his past, his seemingly-endless writer's block, and the inspiring music that he had been able to develop as a result.

It was a little bit country and a little bit rock n' roll as the American Idol Top 6 each performed twice on the Idol stage!
