Lin-Manuel Miranda's newest musical, which opened to rave reviews last week, will arrive on Broadway this summer at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. The show will start previews on July 13th and will open on August 6th. The world premiere production of HAMILTON, inspired by the book 'Alexander Hamilton' by Ron Chernow, with book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and directed by Thomas Kail, will run an additional four weeks through Sunday, May 3 with an official press opening last night, February 17 at The Public Theater. Celebrating the life of Mexican-American superstar Selena Quintanilla-Perez, BROADWAY SINGS SELENA will welcome a starry cast of Broadway's best performers; presented at Off-Broadway's The Underground Theatre on April 1st. The show will be directed by Jay Levy.
