Last night, September 28, Green Day frontman and the musical's composer/ co-author Billie Joe Armstrong made his Broadway debut as 'St. Jimmy' at the St. James Theatre in AMERICAN IDIOT. Armstrong will perform through Sunday, October 3, 2010. Immediately following this engagement, Mr. Armstrong will join Green Day in Caracas, Venezuela on October 8, 2010 to kick off their South American Tour. On Thursday, July 29th, Tony nominee Stark Sands from AMERICAN IDIOT visits MyFOX's Good Day New York. He talks about the show, his name, and meeting his future wife on a New Year's trip to England. Sands, who was nominated in 2007 for his role in JOURNEY'S END, plays Tunny in the Green Day musical.

The cast of the hit Broadway musical AMERICAN IDIOT performed '21 Guns' live this morning, June 10th, in the 8am (EST) hour, on CBS's 'The Early Show,' which airs weekdays from 7-9am. The appearance featured Tony Award winner John Gallagher Jr., Tony Award Nominee Stark Sands, Michael Esper, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Christina Sajous, and Mary Faber as well as Declan Bennett, Andrew Call, Gerard Canonico, Miguel Cervantes, Brian Charles Johnson, Leslie McDonel, Chase Peacock, Theo Stockman, Ben Thompson, Alysha Umphress, Sean Wing and Libby Winters.
