FX's acclaimed hit drama The Americans returns for its second season on Wednesday, February 26 at 10 PM ET/PT.

New York City Opera's 2013-14 season and BAM's 2013 Next Wave Festival opened Sept. 17 with the U.S. premiere of Anna Nicole, an opera by composer Mark-Anthony Turnage and librettist Richard Thomas based on the flamboyant life and tragic death of Anna Nicole Smith. This highly anticipated co-production includes seven performances at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House, on September 17, 19, 21, 24, 25, 27, and 28 at 7:30pm. The Old Globe today announced Thinking Shakespeare Live!, a 90-minute presentation exploring the language of Shakespeare, on Saturday, June 15 at 11 a.m. Led by Old Globe Artistic Director Barry Edelstein and assisted by three professional classical actors, this special program based on Edelstein's book, Thinking Shakespeare: A How-To Guide for Student Actors, Directors, and Anyone Else Who Wants to Feel More Comfortable with the Bard, will reveal a performer's approach to Shakespearean language so audiences may easily understand the poetry of the Bard. An ideal introduction to Shakespeare for families and young audiences, Thinking Shakespeare Live! will take place on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Manhattan Theatre Club will present the American premiere of Rebecca Lenkiewicz's new version of AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE by Henrik Ibsen, directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes (Doubt, The Royal Family, The Whipping Man, Defiance) on Broadway this fall. Starring four-time Tony Award winner Boyd Gaines and Emmy Award winner Richard Thomas, AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE will play the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, with previews beginning Tuesday, September 4, 2012 and opening on Thursday, September 27, 2012. A new opera based on the life of tabloid queen Anna Nicole Smith opened at Royal Opera House this Thurday, February 17. Already, the production's six shows, which run through March 4, are comletely sold out. The show, entitled ANNA NICOLE is described on their website as 'a celebrity story of our times that includes extreme language, drug abuse and sexual content,' and imposed a minimum age of 16. This new opera is provocative in its themes, exciting in its bravura style and thrilling with its sheer contemporary nerve,' it added in language normally reserved for reality TV. Anna Nicole Smith's life made the news -- you can bet this world premiere will too.'

The Public Theater's two upcoming productions are William Shakespeare's TIMON OF ATHENS and Tony Kushner's THE INTELLIGENT HOMOSEXUAL'S GUIDE TO CAPITALISM AND SOCIALISM WITH A KEY TO THE SCRIPTURES.
