The new Broadway production of the Tony Award nominated and Olivier Award-winning musical Caroline, or Change, began previews, last night at Studio 54. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer was in attendance to address the crowd and pay a visit backstage with the cast and creatives.

Directed and choreographed by JT Horenstein, the new musical features music and lyrics by Jeff Daye and lyrics by Laura Kleinbaum. American singer-songwriter and the winner of NBC TV's first season of The Voice, Javier Colon, will star in Unquowa Repertory Theatre's inaugural production of Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Big River in concert, led by theatre veterans Kirby and Beverly Ward, will hit Fairfield Theatre Company's StageOne for a limited run of four performances, June 15-17, 2017. Casting has been announced for the Los Angeles return engagement of Disney's THE LION KING. Los Angeles' most eagerly awaited stage production ever will leap onto the Hollywood Pantages stage from November 20, 2013 - January 12, 2014. The press opening night is Friday, November 22 at 8pm. The landmark musical will return to Los Angeles for the first time since its triumphant return engagement in November 2006, where the production played a sold-out run at Hollywood Pantages.
