The Old Globe presents the West Coast premiere of Paul Gordon's delightfully romantic new musical SENSE AND SENSIBILITY, developed with Rick Boynton and presented in association with Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where it was commissioned and had its world premiere in April 2015. CST Artistic Director Barbara Gaines returns to the show as director of the Globe production. SENSE AND SENSIBILITY will play now through August 14, 2016 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. The Marriott Theatre presents the Chicagoland premiere of the Broadway Revival of GODSPELL, opening tonight, June 11 and running through August 10 at 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire, IL. GODSPELL was originally conceived and directed by John-Michael Tebelak, with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, composer of Wickedand Pippin. Director and Choreographer Matt Raftery delivers a fresh, organic, intimate production, literally 'illustrating' the parables of the New Testament and bringing its lessons to life on the Marriott stage. CABARET is Kander and Ebb's legendary musical about English cabaret performer Sally Bowles, American writer Clifford Bradshaw, and the decadence of 1929 Berlin. The production is directed by David H. Chicago Shakespeare Theater's (CST) 25th Anniversary Season production of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, directed by CST Associate Artistic Director Gary Griffin (CST's Follies, Broadway's The Color Purple) is now playing through April 8, 2012, and features a celebrated company of artists that includes stage and screen actor Ron Orbach as Nick Bottom, former Saturday Night Live funnyman Tim Kazurinsky as Peter Quince, and veteran CST actors Tracy Michelle Arnold as Hippolyta/Titania and Timothy Edward Kane as Theseus/Oberon. Performing the role of Puck is Elizabeth Ledo.

The song and tap extravaganza 42nd STREET previews March 30th, opens April 10th and runs through May 29th at the Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire, IL. The Broadway production of 42nd STREET won the Tony Award for Best Musical and Choreography in 1980, and Best Revival in 2001. The Marriott Theatre's production will feature Direction and Musical Staging by 2010 Jeff Award winner Rachel Rockwell, Choreography by 2010 Jeff Award winner Tammy Mader, with Musical Direction by multi-Jeff Award winner Doug Peck.
