Beloved Broadway shows were stripped down, sexied up and given a Broadway Bares twist at this year's edition of Broadway Bares Fire Island. Inspired by some of the theatre's greatest hits and set to pop music, the evening brought Broadway style to classic striptease. Twenty-six of New York City's best dancers came together in Fire Island Pines on June 3, 2017, and raised a record-breaking $56,533 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Meet Nana Ageyman-Bediako (11 years old from Haringey, London), Raphael Higgins-Humes (11 years old from Greenwich, London), Rio Myers (10 years old from Lewisham, London) and Tumo Reetsang (12 years old from Southwark, London), who alternate the roles of Young Michael Jackson, Young Berry Gordy and Young Stevie Wonder in the hit West End show MOTOWN THE MUSICAL. Last night (8 March 2016) marked the opening of the West End production of MOTOWN THE MUSICAL. With music and lyrics from the legendary Motown catalogue and book by Motown founder Berry Gordy, MOTOWN THE MUSICAL is directed by Charles Randolph-Wright. Last month, due to public demand, a further 200,000 tickets were released for sale taking bookings at the Shaftesbury Theatre to 18 February 2017. The talented cast of MOTOWN THE MUSICAL treated unsuspecting passengers to an impromptu performance on a Virgin Air flight to Detroit.

Watts (Whorl Inside A Loop, After Midnight), Wilkie Ferguson (Porgy n' Bess, Post Modern Jukebox), and Nicholas Christopher (Motown, Whorl Inside A Loop) hope to achieve upon the release of a new track and concept video entitled Another One. Live From Lincoln Center - the pioneering, award-winning performing arts series - continues its 40th anniversary season with another concert from Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, featuring Norm Lewis: Who Am I? (April 10 on PBS). Song selections include: 'Wouldn't It Be Loverly?' (Music by Frederick Loewe, lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner); 'I Got Plenty o' Nuttin' (Music by George Gershwin, lyrics by DuBose Heyward and Ira Gershwin); 'What's Going On' (Renaldo Benson, al Cleveland, and Marvin Gaye); and 'No One Is Alone' (Stephen Sondheim).

The touring production of MOTOWN the Musical sent a special 'Happy Trails' to the Broadway Production of MOTOWN, closing today, Sunday Jan. 18. With direction and arrangement by Jesse Nager (Smokey Robinson) the video features Julius Thomas III (Berry Gordy), Allison Semmes (Diana Ross), Jarran Muse (Marvin Gaye), Krisha Mercano (Suzanne De Passe), and Rod Harrelson (dance captain), all of whom joined the tour from the Broadway company. NJTV, New Jersey's public television network, announced the premiere broadcast of its first national public television production, The Midtown Men Live in Concert!, debuting this month. The performance, taped at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark, NJ in May, will debut on NJTV and its sister stations THIRTEEN and WLIW in the New York metro area beginning tonight, November 29, with additional airings in select markets and a national rollout in March 2015 (check local listings).
