Broadway's top musical artists are set to appear on tonight's (June 21st) telecast of 'Maya & Marty' on NBC to perform 'What the World Needs Now Is Love,' an updated version of the classic Burt Bacharach/Hal David song that is helping to support the devastated LGBT community of Orlando, Fla. A slew of stage vets rehearsed the song earlier today, and Seth Rudetsky captured a sneak preview.

An all-star roster of theater artists gathered today to record the new benefit single 'What the World Needs Now is Love' for victims of the Orlando Shooting. Broadway Records President Van Dean, Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley announced the single and the charitable initiative 'Broadway for Orlando' earlier today. The Duplex will present stage, film and television veteran Alvin Ing in his new cabaret show - GOT A LOT OF LIVIN' TO DO - written, produced and directed by Lainie Sakakura, at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre, 61 Christopher Street (@ 7th Avenue) in New York on Monday, May 23, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. Doors open 30 minutes before showtime. On Tuesday, September 29, immediately upon completion of filming his starring role on the fourth season of the Cinemax series 'Banshee,' Hoon Lee joined Tony winner Kelli O'Hara and the company, assuming the role of The King, which was originated for this production by Tony Award nominee Ken Watanabe. The Broadway transfer of The Royal Shakespeare Company's Wolf Hall: Parts 1 & 2 began previews on March 20, 2015 at the Winter Garden Theatre, and opened Thursday night, April 9, 2015. Wolf Hall: Parts 1 & 2, which explores the deceit, betrayal, and intrigue of the court of Henry VIII, is written by Dame Hilary Manteland adapted by Mike Poulton. This special event invites theatergoers to be part of a unique theatrical experience, similar to the Royal Shakespeare Company's award winning production of The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby.
