On this day in 2013, Academy Award-winner Tom Hanks made his Broadway debut in Lucky Guy, written by Nora Ephron and directed by George C. Wolfe. 

Yesterday, BWW told you about the New York cab driver who picked up Tom Hanks and in return received free tickets to the actor's then Broadway show 'Lucky Guy.' Today, the cabbie surprised TODAY's Hoda Kotb, another one of his recent passengers.
