STAGE TUBE: Brigid & Shannon Harrington Perform 'Sisters' at Huntington's Disease Benefit

On Dec. 1st at Playwright's Horizons, the Huntington's Disease Society of America, Greater NY Chapter held their annual Curtains Up For A Cure concert & silent auction with proceeds benefitting Huntington's Disease research. The concert was Produced by Meredith Patterson, who (among other Broadway credits) originated the role of Judy Haynes on Broadway in Irving Berlin's White Christmas. Ms. Patterson reprised her role last year in the 2013 Broadway National Tour.

Brook is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated from Indiana University in May 2013 with a BFA in musical theatre and has been in NYC for just a little over a month! She recently originated the role of "Molly" in Jeremy Schonfeld's new musical "SPUN." As a side note, she is also incredibly stoked to be a part of this fierce talent competition!

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Atlanta's Broadway dreams will come true for the 5th consecutive summer when THE BROADWAY DREAMS FOUNDATION (BDF) presents their acclaimed Summer Performing Arts Intensive Monday, June 7 through Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre (2800 Cobb Galleria Parkway, Marietta, GA), Atlanta's premiere entertainment venue. The week-long program will culminate in a one-night-only Broadway concert event entitled 'Don't Stop Believing' on Sunday, June 13 at 2:00 pm at the Centre's 2,750 seat John A. Williams Theatre. THE BROADWAY DREAMS FOUNDATION (BDF) returned to Atlanta, Georgia Monday, June 1 through Saturday, June 6, 2009 to host their fourth annual BDF Summer Performing Arts Intensive program. The goal of the non-profit organization is to bring young talent closer to their Broadway dreams, regardless of their financial status, through an intensive week-long Broadway training program lead by some of Broadway's brightest stars.
