Minutes prior to the start of the Olympic games in Vancouver on Friday, February 12, NBC aired an abbreviated version of 'We Are the World 25 for Haiti', a recording to benefit the victims of the Haiti earthquake. The full video can be seen below. The single is available for download from iTunes with proceeds going directly to the We Are the World Foundation.

ET has released new footage of Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie's all-star recording of We Are the World to benefit Haitian earthquake victims. The pair assembled 100 actors and musicians for the re-recording, which ET's Mary Hart, who was grated access to the recording, calls 'phenomenal again.' Lat night, Monday, February 1, 'Idol' alum and Dreamgirls star Jennifer Hudson belted out a rendition of 'I Will Always Love You,' in a special tribute to Whitney Houston at the BET Honors. As previously announced, Jennifer Hudson, the multitalented actress-singer whose accolades include an Academy Award for the movie 'Dreamgirls' and a Grammy for 'Best R&B Album,' heads back to her hometown of Chicago to share childhood memories of the music, people and places that set the stage for her success in her first television special, 'Jennifer Hudson: I'll Be Home for Christmas.' Today, ABC has announced that the air date will be Monday, December 14 from 8:00-9:00 p.m., EST on the ABC Television Network.
