On February 2 (7PM & 9:30), Ryan Scott Oliver returns to 54 Below with material culled from his diverse and growing body of work: multimedia musical 35mm; southern gothic thriller We Foxes; epic Civil War-era folk opera Rope; macabre jazz operetta Darling; and rocking underworld odyssey Jasper in Deadland. Broadway powerhouses will bring his high-octane songs of heroism, salvation, brotherhood and twisted tragedy to life in a celebration of the singularity and power of this composer's inimitable musical voice. Twenty-Somethings 2, an evening spotlighting the work of songwriters Drew Overcash, Blake Pfeil, and Zoe Sarnak, was held Aug. 18 at the Highline Ballroom. Tony nominee Robin de Jesus, Kacie Sheik and Nic Rouleau were among the performers.

Ghostlight, the Musical by Tim Realbuto and Matthew Martin, presented a concert a 54 Below on Thursday, March 6th, 2014. Ghostlight premiered at The New York Musical Theatre Festival in 2011 and is slated for a fall workshop before an out-of-town tryout. Click below to watch some of the performances from the concert!

After a sold-out run at the Canal Room, 'The TRL Generation' brought its wildly successful 'Broadway Loves the Spice Girls' concert uptown to 54 Below on January 13th. The 'Girl Power'-filled song and dance extravaganza was musically directed by Benjamin Rauhala, directed by Kyle Fox, and produced by Shoshana Feinstein. Award-winning composer Jeff Thomson made his debut at 54 Below with 'Go Where The Love Is' last week, January 20. The evening will highlight material from the upcoming musicals Pump Up the Volume, Trails, and Jawbreaker, as well as several yet-to-be-revealed projects.
