Tony Award-winning composer/lyricist Lin-Manuel Miranda and the cast of 'Bring It On: The Musical' took part in a celebration kicking off the ation tour of the musical on October 22, 2011. Also there were cheer squads from Narbonne High School (Harbor City), Mira Mesa High School (San Diego), Hart High School (Santa Clarita) and Santa Monica High School (Santa Monica); dance squads from St. Genevieve High School (Panorama City) and Los Alamitos High School (Los Alamitos); Glendale Community College's cheer squad, UCA cheer and dance instructors and a pep band. Guest hosts included KIIS FM's JoJo, Telemundo's Jorge Bernal and Hannah of 'The Glee Project.'

After the success of Brief Encounter in the West End and on Broadway, Kneehigh's new adaptation of Jacques Demy and Michel Legrand's The Umbrellas of Cherbourg will arrive at the Gielgud Theatre following a limited run at Curve, Leicester.

Directed by Marc Bruni, with choreography by Wendy Seyb, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee opened January 23 at the Paper Mill Playhouse. The production began performances on January 19 and runs through February 13, 2010.
