Royal Underground/Jerica Productions spearheaded by brother and sister duo Jerianne and Enrico Banson, who mounted the Regional Premiere of RENT in San Francisco, has taken the musical to Los Angeles for the first time. Many RENT fans have credited their rendition as the best regional version paying homage to the iconic original Broadway production while finding new creative staging. So much so, that their production has earn nominations for BroadwayWorld.com's San Francisco Fan Choice Theatre Awards for 2010, earning a Best Leading Actor nomination for Enrico Banson as Roger, and Adrienne Fraser for Best Scenic Design. Both are back for the Hollywood production and coincidentally enough, Jason Aaronson who will play Mark opposite Enrico Banson's
Roger is also nominated for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his performance of the West Coast Premiere of Glory Days.

THE DIVINE SISTER, the new comedy written by and starring Charles Busch, directed by Carl Andress (The Third Story; Die, Mommie, Die!), opened at SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street.) on September 22.
The musical icon and beloved actress Julie Andrews returned to the UK stage for the first time in thirty years, with a special one off performance at London's O2 Arena. 'An Evening with Julie Andrews' saw a night of music from her greatest stage and screen performances, as well as the live narration of the story Simeon's Gift, the best-selling children's book written by Julie and her daughter, Emma Walton Hamilton. Stephen Buntrock, Kevin Odekirk, Christiane Noll, Anne Runolfsson, and Jubilant Sykes all took to the stage with Julie Andrews.
