Someone once said, "Don't Be Cruel, to a Heart That's True"… but it's not ALWAYS a good idea to repress your cruel intentions. Especially if your intention is to create a completely madcap music theatre 90's pop/rock concert retelling of the 90's cult classic Cruel Intentions. Well, thank the musical theatre gods someone saw fit to do just that.

Emma Hunton (Wicked, Next to Normal, Spring Awakening) recently took to the Rockwell stage, performing songs ranging from Fleetwood Mac's 'Go Your Own Way' to Radiohead's 'Creep.' Guest stars included Glee's Lindsay Pearce and Dear John Hughes' Michael Thomas Grant. Grant is currently performing alongside Hunton in 'The Unauthorized Musical Parody of Clueless,' playing now through October 2nd at Rockwell Table and Stage. Hunton honored her Broadway roots with a performance of Spring Awakening's 'Touch Me.'

Performances begin May 15th. Lindsay Pearce (soon to be on ABC Family's upcoming show 'Recovery Road,' and of 'Glee' fame) and Payson Lewis (bare, 'The Sing Off') recorded a cover of Green Day's 'Basket Case' (off of their Dookie album) in promotion of tickets going on sale for the show.
