BroadwayWorld.com is very excited to announce that we will be returning to Joe's Pub at the Public Theater in 2014, kicking off a year-long celebration of the community and our 10th anniversary with regularly scheduled concerts, live streams and special events in a BIG way. The concert series will launch on January 20, 2014 with BROADWAYWORLD VISITS OZ, directed by Richard Jay-Alexander and with music direction by Mary-Mitchell Campbell. The American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards® celebration of excellence in the theatre includes recognition of winners and nominees in the 27 competitive categories. The Tony Awards® administrative committee also celebated the honorees for the four non-competitive categories which were presented at the 2009 Tony Awards Sunday, June 7th. The 2009 Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and The American Theatre Wing.

Rosie's Broadway Kids officially celebrates its new home Monday as the Maravel Arts Center has a ribbon cutting ceremony to open the re-modeled facility to the press. Located in the heart of the Broadway community, on 45th Street, Rosie O'Donnell's organization will now have two dance studios, a music studio, library, dressing rooms and much more in its new location.

Oscar, Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright-director John Patrick Shanley brings his searing drama Doubt to the silver screen. Shanley wrote the screenplay and directs the film adaptation of his Tony winning hit.
