This week's New York Times In Performance video features DOCTOR ZHIVAGO's Kelli Barrett performing the number 'He's There' from the new Broadway musical which official opens tonight at the Broadway Theater.

"Me and Miss Monroe" starring Rachel York as Marilyn Monroe, features a book and lyrics by Charles Leipart and music by William Goldstein. "Me and Miss Monroe" was directed at AMAS Musical Theatre by John Rando, choreographed by Christopher Gatelli, and presented in association with Chase Mishkin. Kathleen Turner appeared on 'Good Morning America' this morning, Friday April 8th. She disscussed her return to Broadway to play 'Sister Jamison Connelly' in HIGH, a new play written by Matthew Lombardo and directed by Rob Ruggiero. HIGH will open officially on April 19th at the Booth Theatre on Broadway.

The audience members attending the April 17th 2 PM performance of Memphis were given an extra special treat when Ramon Castro got on stage and proposed to his girlfriend Celeste Sanders. Castro quoted the show asking Sanders if she would be the woman to pick out his clothes for the rest of his life, a line used by Huey Calhoun.
