As last minute replacements, Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy and Suzy rename themselves 'The Marvelous Wonderettes,' and rally together to entertain their classmates in four-part harmony at the Springfield High School Class of 1958 senior prom. With hopes, dreams and voices as big as their crinoline skirts, each of the four girls' stories are told through classic pop-charting hits from the 1950s and '60s including 'Lollipop,' 'Dream Lover,' 'Stupid Cupid,' 'Lipstick On Your Collar,' 'Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me,' 'It's My Party' and more!
