The New Natives Theatre Company, a New York City-based artistic collective co-founded by Charly Clive and Jillian Geurts, announce an ambitious third season featuring the American premiere of Andrew Bovell's 'Holy Day'. The play, which grapples with themes of race, gender and the politics of memory, is an exploration of Australia's difficult and complex colonial history. The show will be directed by Barbara Rubin and features an international cast, including Indigenous Australian actress Chenoa Deemal, in her New York City theatre debut.
