The New Colony announced today that Founding Members and Co-Artistic Directors Andrew Hobgood and Evan Linder will step down in January 2018 at the conclusion of the company's ninth season. TNC's Board of Directors has launched a search for a new Artistic Director and a replacement is expected to be announced later this year.

And at that, the true secret here may just be the jokes. Those, and the blackout line at the very end of the play, which just may bring a lump to the throat.

Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago. Written by Michael Perlman and directed by Spenser Davis, the six-week run features the full original cast. Goodman Theatre joins Los Angeles' Center Theatre Group (CTG) in a new co-commissioning partnership that also involves three other internationally renowned theaters-London's Royal Court Theatre and National Theatre, and New York's Second Stage-in the hopes of generating new plays to appear in multiple cities over the next decade.
