Dule sat down for a chat with Katie before cast members Vigril Lil' O Gadson, Julius 'iGlide' Chisholm, Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards, Phillip Attmore and Daniel Watts performed 'Hottentot' and 'New Broom.' Music legend Shirley Bassey, perhaps best known in the U.S. for recording the theme songs to the James Bond films may be making a return to Broadway in the new musical AFTER MIDNIGHT.

AFTER MIDNIGHT, currently playing at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, just welcomed k.d. lang as its special guest star. Lang will continue her Broadway run through March 9. Fashion duo Isabel and Ruben Toledo hosted a pre-opening night reception at their atelier in honor of for four-time Grammy Award-winning icon k.d. lang's Broadway debut in After Midnight. As previously announced, After Midnight, which opened last night at the Brooks AtkinsonTheatre, will welcome k.d. lang February 11 through March 9. BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge chatted with her on the red carpet about making her Broadway debut in the show and she revealed: 'I love the music so much and I'm so excited to see Fantasia and Dule [Hill] and all of the young artists that are doing the show. I'm so excited to have three months in my head to absorb how I'm going to fit in, but as I said earlier, I don't expect to go in and change myself but just let the music do the talking and really sing my heart out. To be honest, I didn't expect to be on Broadway ever. It wasn't really in my realm of thinking. But I'm really excited now that I'm here and after the show I'm sure that I'm gonna be off the charts excited.'

Producers Scott Sanders and Wynton Marsalis present After Midnight, directed and choreographed byWarren Carlyle and featuring the big-band sounds of nine-time Grammy Award-winner Wynton Marsalis' Jazz at Lincoln Center All-Stars, After Midnight began previews on Friday, October 18, 2013 at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 W 47th St) and celebrated opening night yesterday, November 3.
