Patti LaBelle Set to Return to Broadway as AFTER MIDNIGHT's Next Guest Star?

According to Out.com, music legend Patti LaBelle just attended a performance of Broadway's After Midnight, and will be the next star to join the guest lineup at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. Current guest star Vanessa Williams will end her limited run on May 11, and will be followed by Fantasia, who returns on May 13.
Christopher Jackson to Join Cast of AFTER MIDNIGHT on 4/5

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Christopher Jackson (In the Heights, Memphis, Bronx Bombers) will join the cast of After Midnight from April 5-20. He will replace Everett Bradley, who will depart to be the band leader on the Meredith Vieira Show. Jackson starred in the Encores! version of the show in 2012, when it was titled Cotton Club Parade.

Multi-Platinum superstars Toni Braxton and Kenny 'Babyface' Edmonds are the latest Grammy Award-winning artists to join the roster of 'Special Guest Star' vocalists in the smash hit Broadway musical After Midnight. With an impressive 16 Grammy Awards between them, Braxton and Edmonds will play their first performance tonight, March 18, 2014, marking Edmonds' Broadway debut and Braxton's return. Over the weekend, Four-time Grammy Award-winner k.d. lang, who just concluded her engagement as "Special Guest Star" in Broadway's After Midnight, offered the audience a live, rare performance of her legendary rendition of the Leonard Cohen classic, 'Hallelujah' (which she famously performed at the 2010 Olympic Games Closing Ceremonies). She gave the special encore to raise money for The Actors Fund, and was joined on stage by the Tony Award-winning chairman of the organization, Brian Stokes Mitchell.
