According to Out.com, music legend Patti LaBelle just attended a performance of Broadway's After Midnight, and will be the next star to join the guest lineup at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. Current guest star Vanessa Williams will end her limited run on May 11, and will be followed by Fantasia, who returns on May 13.

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Christopher Jackson (In the Heights, Memphis, Bronx Bombers) will join the cast of After Midnight from April 5-20. He will replace Everett Bradley, who will depart to be the band leader on the Meredith Vieira Show. Jackson starred in the Encores! version of the show in 2012, when it was titled Cotton Club Parade.

StandOut Productions and the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center's Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center present a one-night-only salute to director Andrea Meyerson's first fim, Lauging Matters, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of its release. Fantasia, After Midnight's original Grammy Award-winning 'Special Guest Star,' will reprise her critically acclaimed performance in the smash hit Broadway musical, Tuesday, May 13 through Sunday, June 8, 2014. Multi-Platinum superstars Toni Braxton and Kenny 'Babyface' Edmonds are the latest Grammy Award-winning artists to join the roster of 'Special Guest Star' vocalists in the smash hit Broadway musical After Midnight. With an impressive 16 Grammy Awards between them, Braxton and Edmonds will play their first performance tonight, March 18, 2014, marking Edmonds' Broadway debut and Braxton's return. The duo will continue performances at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street) through Sunday, March 30, 2014.

Grammy Award-winning artist k.d. lang, who made her Broadway debut in the new musical 'After Midnight', shared that the experience has been 'a dream come true'

Mac & Bistro Award-Winning Vocalist Marieann Meringolo just concluded her third appearance of multi-night performances at NYC's premiere cabaret showroom, the Metropolitan Room, with her latest show 'Orchestrated!' It sold-out and got a standing ovation at each performance. In fact, she was held over so many times, she is a regular there now.

Over the weekend, Four-time Grammy Award-winner k.d. lang, who just concluded her engagement as "Special Guest Star" in Broadway's After Midnight, offered the audience a live, rare performance of her legendary rendition of the Leonard Cohen classic, 'Hallelujah' (which she famously performed at the 2010 Olympic Games Closing Ceremonies). She gave the special encore to raise money for The Actors Fund, and was joined on stage by the Tony Award-winning chairman of the organization, Brian Stokes Mitchell.

k.d. lang joined the cast of After Midnight, currently playing at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, earlier in February and will continue her Broadway run through tomorrow, March 9. lang performed the song 'Hallelujah' last night as an encore, and BroadwayWorld was there to capture the moment.
