Sources confirm that The Wooster Group is excited to guest curate Performance Space 122's longest-running multi-disciplinary mini-festival and that this spring's Avant-Garde-Arama! will feature artists who the Group calls upon, in their own words, 'sometimes late at night, sometimes when we haven't seen them in a while, sometimes lonely, sometimes drunk, and sometimes we when we've just got nothing better to do.'

To celebrate Ugly Duckling Presse and the launching of its new Emergency Performance series, the editors are hosting a bacchanalia to invoke the spirit of chaos necessary for such an ambitious project, and a wonderful collision of performers, audiences, and communities to begin the process of engagement which this new series will undertake.

Laboratory Theater performs its newest piece LE MIRAGE on Saturday June 13 at 7pm, Saturday June 20 at 7pm, and Wednesday June 24 at 7:30pm, presented by The Brick Theater as part of The Antidepressant Festival (575 Metropolitan Avenue between Union and Lorimer in Brooklyn).

The OBIE-winning HERE Arts Center's annual CULTUREMART festival is set for January 7 -February 4, 2009, this year featuring 17 works that blur the lines between dance, theatre, music, new media, puppetry and visual art. Reflecting a core philosophy that it's not possible for any one art form alone to convey the flood of images, data and sound bytes that inundate the senses in today's world of information and communication overload, CULTUREMART's cross-disciplinary presentations embrace and illuminate our modern experience by integrating many forms of media and content into exciting new works.

The Public Theater will begin performances for UNDER THE RADAR 2009 on Wednesday, January 7, 2009. This 12-day festival, committed to tracking new theater from across the U.S. and around the world, will run through Sunday, January 18.
