The OBIE-winning HERE announced the line-up for its annual CULTUREMART festival, this year running January 24 - February 11. CULTUREMART makes process the focus, presenting work in various stages of development from the boundary-breaking artists in the HERE Artist Residency Program (HARP). CULTUREMART provides a platform for HARP artists to blur the lines between dance, theatre, music, multimedia, puppetry and visual art, on their journey to mainstage productions. CULTUREMART 2012 features 12 workshop performances spanning topics as varied as civic engagement, human error, music of the spheres, war gaming and everything in between.

HERE is set to present Miranda, a HERE Artist Residency Program (HARP) production by Kamala Sankaram (Creator / Composer / Librettist with Rob Reese). Directed by Rob Reese, Miranda will play 8 performances only from January 12 - 21 at HERE (145 Sixth Avenue) as a featured presentation within HERE's 2011-12 Season.

For UNTITLED FEMINIST SHOW, adventurous playwright/director Young Jean Lee put together a group of the most charismatic performers she could find (a cabaret star, a burlesque star, three dance-world stars, and a downtown theater star) to engage the audience in a celebration of human transformation and fluidity.

Created by Suli Holum (co-creator, performer) and Deborah Stein (co-creator, writer), Chimera is a multimedia theatrical work integrating sophisticated video into a dramatic story. This production plays January 5 - 28 in the Dorothy B. Williams Theatre at HERE (145 Sixth Avenue) as a featured presentation within HERE's 2011-12 Season. Official Opening Night is set for Sunday, January 8 at 7:00pm.

Performances of A Map of Virtue will take place February 6-25 at the 4th Street Theatre. The 4th Street Theatre is located at 83 East 4th Street in New York City.

Performance Space 122 is pleased to announce that three popular theater works from the contemporary performance festival COIL will extend. Young Jean Lee's Untitled Feminist Show, the TEAM's Mission Drift, and Temporary Distortion's Newyorkland will now run thru February 4, 2012.
