Shattered Globe Theatre will conclude its 2016-17 Season with the Chicago premiere of Sarah Ruhl's FOR PETER PAN ON HER 70th BIRTHDAY, written for her mother Kathleen, a Chicago actress who played Peter Pan onstage as a teenager. Directed by Jessica Thebus, the production will feature Kathleen Ruhl, surrounded by the Shattered Globe Ensemble. ?Due to popular demand, A Red Orchid Theatre adds six performances to the run of the world premiere of Sender by Ike Holter, directed by Ensemble Member Shade Murray. Featuring Ensemble Member Steve Haggard, the cast of Sender also includes McKenzie Chinn, Mary Williamson and Steven Wilson. The extension includes Saturday matinees as well as additional weeknight performances. Sender will now run through June 4, 2016. A Red Orchid Theatre is located at 1531 N Wells. Tickets to extension performances go on sale Thursday, May 12, 2016.

The Inkwell Theater proudly announces the world premiere production of Los Angeles-based playwright Jennie Webb's latest comedy Currency. Directed by Annie McVey, Currency will open on Friday, April 15, 2016 and run for six weeks until it closes on Saturday, May 21, 2016.
