Production began this week in Vancouver on Freeform's latest drama pilot THE DEEP(working title).

Final casting announced for the British musical "Rumpy Pumpy!" The remarkable true story of two genteel ladies from the Hampshire Women's Institute who campaign for better conditions for Working Girls 

Rehearsals begin today for the European premiere of David Bowie and Enda Walsh's LAZARUS, ahead of preview performances from Tuesday 25 October in a brand new 900-seater venue at Kings Cross Theatre built specifically for the production. Playing for 13 WEEKS ONLY until Sunday 22 January 2017, LAZARUS will have its official opening night on Tuesday 8 November 2016.

Tony and Olivier Award-winning director Michael Grandage and Tony and Olivier Award-winning scenic and costume designer Christopher Oram are confirmed for the creative team of Frozen, a new musical based on Disney's Academy Award-winning musical film, slated to open at Broadway's St. James Theatre in spring 2018.

A&E Network has ordered the new nonfiction series LITTLE FUNNY (working title) from This is Just a Test, Telepictures and A Very Good Production, it was announced by Elaine Frontain Bryant, Executive Vice President and Head of Programming at A&E Network.

Aurora Theatre Company announces the company's newest Originate + Generate (O+G) artist commission, Christopher Chen. Chen has been commissioned for the company's 25th anniversary season to create a new play specifically for the Aurora stage; the working title for the new piece is Secretary of State. As with current O+G artists Jonathan Spector(The State of Nature) and Beth Wilmurt (Cabaret Olga), Chen will have the opportunity to create new work via a process of his own devising and will receive financial support in the form of a $5000 grant. During the O+G creation process, audiences will be invited to attend various workshops and presentations as well as a series of pop-up readings by other theater makers.

The producers of the multi award-winning smash hit Billy Elliot the Musical are delighted to announce that the four boys who will play the title role in the first ever UK and Ireland tour of the iconic musical are Adam Abbou (12 years old from Liverpool),Matthew Lyons (11 years old from Leeds), Haydn May (11 years old from Bath) and Lewis Smallman (12 years old from West Bromwich). The boys were cast following nationwide auditions and after months of intensive rehearsals began alternating in the role following the show's opening earlier in the year.  Billy Elliot the musical opens at The Bristol Hippodrome on Tuesday 25thOctober and runs until Saturday 26th November 2016.
