Photo Flash: First Look at 'KNOCK,' Opening Tonight at The Players Theatre

Lost & Found Project, an edgy ensemble of next generation storytellers, curates a world premiere of KNOCK: A Journey to a Strange Country, a new play inspired by writings of the Russian avant-garde absurdist Daniil Kharms. KNOCK is written and presented by the award-winning Lost & Found Project, a division of National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (NYTF) FolksbieneRU. Eleven performances will be staged at The Players Theatre, 115 MacDougal Street, in New York, N.Y., from March 4-22, 2015.

Lost & Found Project's World Premiere of 'KNOCK' Begins Tonight

Lost & Found Project, an edgy ensemble of next generation storytellers, curates a world premiere of KNOCK: A Journey to a Strange Country, a new play inspired by writings of the Russian avant-garde absurdist Daniil Kharms. KNOCK is written and presented by the award-winning Lost & Found Project, a division of National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (NYTF) FolksbieneRU. Eleven performances will be staged at The Players Theatre, 115 MacDougal Street, in New York, N.Y., from tonight, March 4-22, 2015.

The Wooster Group to Premiere New Works at St. Ann's This Spring

St. Ann's Warehouse, which has long provided a second New York home for The Wooster Group, will present two new works by the company this spring: the New York Premiere of Cry, Trojans! (Troilus & Cressida), March 24 - April 19; and a remounting of Early Shaker Spirituals: A Record Album Interpretation, April 23 - May 4. Both runs are strictly limited and cannot be extended. The upcoming engagement marks both The Wooster Group's first performances at the St. Ann's Warehouse interim theater at 29 Jay Street in DUMBO, and St. Ann's final presentation in the space, before the organization moves to its permanent home in the historic Tobacco Warehouse in Brooklyn Bridge Park this fall.

2015 FTP Film Festival Comes to Segal Center This Weekend

The FTP (Film Theatre Performance) Festival will be an annual US event for films that deal directly with the themes of theatre and performance. The mission is to present experimental, emerging, and established theatre artists and filmmakers to audiences and industry professionals from around the world. The festival program includes feature films, short films, documentaries, advance screenings, meet-the-filmmaker Q&A sessions, and panels with leading artists in the field.

The TEAM Publishes New Works

The award-winning Brooklyn-based ensemble the TEAM has announced the release of two new published works, as part of their 10th anniversary: an anthology titled Five Plays By The TEAM, and the script for RoosevElvis, both published by Oberon Books. They'll be celebrating the release of both with a book launch event that includes performances and a book signing on Saturday, January 31 at BookCourt (163 Court Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201).

John Tiffany-Helmed LET THE RIGHT ONE IN Makes American Debut at St. Ann's Warehouse Tonight

St. Ann's Warehouse welcomes back the National Theatre of Scotland, director John Tiffany and associate director Steven Hoggett for the American Premiere of Let the Right One In, which Jack Thorne adapted for the stage from John Ajvide Lindqvist's novel and screenplay, and which garnered tremendous acclaim on London's West End earlier in 2014.

The TEAM's ROOSEVELVIS Performances Begin Tonight at Vineyard Theatre ­

The award-winning Brooklyn-based ensemble the TEAM (Artistic Director Rachel Chavkin, Producing Director Manda Martin) celebrate their 10th anniversary this January, with the return of their acclaimed play, RoosevElvis, co-presented with Vineyard Theatre and Performance Space 122's COIL 2015 Festival; the debut of a brand new work, The Holler Sessions, in Seattle; and the release of two new published works on January 8: an anthology titled Five Plays By The TEAM, and the script for RoosevElvis, both published by Oberon Books.
