Lucasfilm announced today that “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” the newest adventure taking place in the Star Wars galaxy, has been selected to screen at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival in Official Selection and Out of Competition during the film festival's run, May 8-19, 2018.

The CW Network will expand its summer programming slate with the acquisition of THE OUTPOST, a 10-hour fantasy-adventure series from Electric Entertainment and Arrowstorm Entertainment, executive producers Dean Devlin ('Stargate,' 'The Librarians'), Jonathan Glassner ('Stargate SG-1') and Jason Faller and Kynan Griffin, who created the series. Peninsula Players Theatre presents a reading of "A Trick of the Light," a new comedy by Peter Moore, Monday, March 5 at 7 p.m., at Bjorklunden, located at 7590 Boynton Lane, Baileys Harbor. "A Trick of the Light" is the second of the three play reading series, The Play's the Thing.
