Theatricum Botanicum Announces 2017 Summer Season Outdoors in Topanga

Will Geer's Theatricum Botanicum rises up and speaks out with a summer line-up of socially conscious classic and contemporary plays, music and performance. The 2017 summer season at the company's unique outdoor setting in Topanga will offer five mainstage productions in rotating repertory as well as a host of satellite events, June through October.

Open Dance Project Embraces the Activism of Woody Guthrie in 'BOUT A STRANGER at MATCH Theater

Beyond the obvious parallels of migration and worker's rights, issues that are still relevant today, Woody Guthrie continues to inspire artists because of his "no apologies" style of activism. Artists looking to expand the dialogue around difficult political issues embrace his words as a way to find common ground. Just look at Lady Gaga singing "This Land Is Your Land" at Super Bowl LI. It is from this place-a desire to activate the public in social political discourse-that Annie Arnoult, the founding Artistic Director of Open Dance Project, has crafted "'Bout a Stranger."

Entire Off-Broadway Ensemble to Return for INDECENT on Broadway

Daryl Roth, Elizabeth Ireland McCann and Cody Lassen, the producers of Indecent -- the newest work by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paula Vogel (HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE) -- have announced that the entire original Off-Broadway ensemble will travel to Broadway when the production begins previews at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street, between Sixth and Seventh Avenues), on April 4, prior to its official opening night on April 18.
