Actors' Theatre is kicking off its 35th season with the hit musical Heathers the Musical which got its start from the 1988 cult film Heathers starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, and became an Off-Broadway musical sensation in 2014. Check out photos from the show below!

Hackensack Theatre Company will host Barrett Wilbert Weed, who starred as Veronica Sawyer Off-Broadway, at an intimate question and answer session during Heathers: The Musical's New Jersey premiere next month. Weed will be on hand following the October 29 performance during the limited run, which will play for just eight performances at the Hackensack Cultural Arts Center, located at 39 Broadway in Hackensack, NJ, from October 15-31.

There is something killer going on in Orlando's theatre scene, and I mean that in the best possible way. Since debuting with a production of CABARET in January, Gen Y Productions has staged thrilling Florida premieres of two of New York's most buzzed-about new works, a risky proposition for a theatre company looking to build an audience. In June, it was a mesmerizing production of Pulitzer Prize-winner THE FLICK (read BWW's review), and now it is the devilishly entertaining HEATHERS: THE MUSICAL. The show runs through August 23rd at The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, and after attending last week's Opening Night, I think it is safe to say that Gen Y is quickly becoming my favorite theatre company in Central Florida.

Since I moved to Austin in 2009, I haven't been quite this blown-away with the realization of the astounding talent we have right here in our very own city. Doctuh Mistuh's production of HEATHERS the Musical features a veritable who's who of young local talent, some truly memorable music, a fantastic band, and of course, all of those one-liners and scenes that HEATHERS film fans are expecting.

Outdoor movies Los Angeles event series Eat|See|Hear will be in Santa Monica tonight, June 20, to showcase Tim Burton's haunting yet whimsical modern fairy tale, Edward Scissorhands.

The one and only Trevor Ashley brings the Australian Premiere of HEATHERS THE MUSICAL, a darkly, hilarious comedy to Hayes Theatre Co. from 16 July. HEATHERS THE MUSICAL is based on the 1988 cult film Heathers that starred Winona Ryder and Christian Slater.

Now the cult classic film hits the Victoria Theatre stage in San Francisco as a live musical from Ray of Light Theatre, featuring all your favorite lines from the movie, plus music and lyrics by the composers behind Legally Blonde and Reefer Madness. Arthur Miller's 1953 play THE CRUCIBLE is a classic of the American theater, and dramatizes one of the greatest failings of the American, or rather pre-American, judicial system. During the infamous Salem witch trials of the late 17th Century, twenty people were put to death for the crime of witchcraft, following a long history of the execution of 'witches' in Europe. Arthur Miller explores the larger themes of this horrible incident through a very personal story of one affected family, making the play at once intimate and epic. Despite being over 60 years old, the themes of religious fanaticism, mob mentality, and persecution of people who are different are sadly as current as they were during the McCarthy era when the play was written. The Guthrie's grand production of this classic with a cast chock-full of talent is truly something to behold.

Logo today announced that actor Michael Urie and a group of his most pop culture-minded friends will serve up a new twist on classic films with 'Cocktails & Classics,' a new film series premiering Sunday, April 19 at 7pm ET/PT.
