WICKED, the untold story of the Witches of Oz, went on sale to the general public yesterday (Sunday 5 March) at 9am and sold a record-breaking £100,000 of tickets in the first hour alone. Ticket buyers braved freezing temperatures and started queuing at the Box Office from 6.30am. The total advance now stands at over £1,700,000.

On January 25th, Wicked reached it 300th performance in Chicago

Beginning March 8 (when performances begin at the Aronoff Center in Cincinnati), Julia Murney will assume the role of Elphaba, Alma Cuervo will become Madame Morrible, P.J. Beginning March 28 (when the show will be playing at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia), K. Todd Freeman assumes the role of Dr. Dillamond.
