John Campione & Kayla Carlyle to Lead WaterTower's BONNIE & CLYDE; Cast & Creative Team Confirmed

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced the cast for the musical Bonnie & Clyde, with music by Frank Wildhorn, lyrics by Don Black, and book by Ivan Menchell, running October 10-November 2, 2014 at the Addison Theatre Centre. The ensemble cast stars John Campione as Clyde Barrow, Kayla Carlyle as Bonnie Parker, David Price as Buck Barrow, Sarah Elizabeth Smith as Blanche Barrow, Anthony Fortino as Ted Hinton, Sonny Franks as the Preacher, Alexandra Doke as Young Bonnie, and Andy Stratton as Young Clyde. The ensemble features Daron Cockerell, Brigitte Goldman, Clinton Greenspan, Kyle Igneczi, Hunter Lewis, Christia Mantzke, Michael Scott McNay, Kelly Nickell, Alan Pollard and Willy Welch.

Mon David to Headline Concert at Ford Amphitheatre, 8/17

On August 17 at the lovely Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood, an exciting blend of pop, jazz, choral and rock will be featured onstage in 'Serenata Filipina.' The only Filipino American event this season features a multigenre cast, performing beloved songs and original works that represent the diverse landscape of the Philippine archipelago. 'OPM' is short for 'Original Pilipino Music' and with 7,100 islands, the Philippines' original music is as varied as can be.

DEATH OF A SALESMAN: THE SITCOM to Play Northcote Town Hall, 17-28 September

The great American tragedy gets a comedic re-write in Death of a Salesman: The Sitcom at Northcote Town Hall, Studio 1 from Wednesday 17 - Sunday 28 September, 2014. Set in a television studio, the audience will witness the hilarity both on-set and off during a 'live' taping of their soon-to-be favourite TV show "The Loman Empire".

BCCT to Present WILLY WONKA at Historic Strand Theater, 8/8-10

Come get your Golden Tickets and savor the delectable tale of a famous chocolate maker's journey to find an heir to his vast factory and fortune! Share in the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Roald Dahl's timeless classic "Willy Wonka" on stage, presented by BCCT at the Historic Strand Center for the Arts in Lakewood, NJ. The show runs this weekend--August 8, 9 and 10--with performances at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and two matinee shows at 2:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

A DANCE OF DEATH Begins Tonight at the Finborough Theatre

Commissioned by the Finborough Theatre from Cerberus Theatre, the UK premiere and the English world premiere of controversial German playwright Rolf Hochhuth's Sommer 14 - A Dance of Death in a brand new translation opens at the Finborough Theatre for a four week limited season today, 5 August 2014 (Press Night: Thursday, 7 August at 7.30pm).

Palm Beach Opera to Stage First World Premiere in 2015

At a time when so many opera companies find themselves forced to cut back, Palm Beach Opera has succeeded instead in breaking new ground, presenting the first world premiere in its 53-year history. Set to a libretto by Nahma Sandrow, Ben Moore's Enemies, A Love Story - a dark comedy based on Nobel laureate Isaac Bashevis Singer's eponymous novel and the subsequent Academy Award-nominated film adaptation - marks a major new addition to the repertoire. Starring bass-baritone Daniel Okulitch, now creating his fourth leading role in a Hollywood-inspired opera, Enemies, A Love Story will debut on February 20, with conductor David Stern leading Sam Helfrich's new production.

Chuck Spencer & JoAnn Montemurro to Lead Raven Theatre's ALL MY SONS; Full Cast Announced

Arthur Miller's intense drama, raising questions of morality and the limits of family ties, promises to be a special opening production for Raven's 2014-2015 season. Headlining the cast will be Chuck Spencer and JoAnn Montemurro as Joe and Kate Keller. These two Raven ensemble members, who earned accolades for their work as Willy and Linda Loman in Miller's Death of a Salesman and as Victor and Esther Franz in his The Price, will play Joe and Kate Keller. Raven first produced All My Sons in 1990 and they appeared in that production as well, playing George Deever and Ann Deever.

Bijou Theatre Opens WILLY WONKA JR. Tonight

The Bijou Theatre's children's summer program, The Bijou Arts Center's Summer Stage, will be performing 'Willy Wonka Jr.' tonight, July 25th at 8pm. The Summer Stage program at the Bijou Theatre is a theatre intensive program for both beginners and experienced performers between the ages of 8 and 15. This is the inaugural year of this program. The cast is very excited to perform on the Bijou's stage. For most of them this is their first live performance.
