National Corporate Theatre Fund (NCTF) will hold its Annual Chairman's Awards Gala and benefit on Monday, April 19 at the St. Regis New York hotel. This year, NCTF Chairman James S. Turley, Chairman & CEO of Ernst & Young, will honor Nathan Lane (returning to Broadway this season in The Addams Family), set designer Eugene Lee (Wicked) and Wells Fargo & Company. After last year's success, the entire cast from A Year with Frog and Toad will be returning to Stoneham Theatre for the family friendly musical, The Dinosaur Musical, directed by Caitlin Lowans, with music by Robert Reale and book & lyrics by Willie Reale. The Dinosaur Musical comes from the creators of A Year with Frog and Toad and The A.R.T.'s Johnny Baseball. Steve Barkhimer and Edward Barker, who played Frog and Toad last year, as well as Mary Callanan (Mouse), Matt Spano (Snail), and Ceit McCaleb Zweil (Turtle), will again be a part of this talented cast. The premiere of Dreamgirls in Los Angeles last night, March 2, was clouded by friends of Marie Osmond mouring the loss of her son, Michael Blosil, who recently committed suicide. Stars such as Angela Bassett and Nia Long expressed their condolences to the Osmonds on ET.
