Walden Theatre will host it's first annual Family Picnic THIS Friday, July 17 from 5:00-9:00pm. The evening will include a Silent Auction (items include: Willie Nelson autographed guitar, photos signed by Neko Case and Zooey Deschanel, a Richard Petty Ride-along, Actors Theatre Season Tickets, Holiday World passes, handbags, gift certificates, and much more!), Inflatable Entertainment for all ages, Games of Chance, a Cakewalk, Arts & Crafts, and Face Painting.

Five-time Grammy-winner Faith Hill makes her Hollywood Bowl debut with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and fellow Grammy-winner, conductor David Campbell, for a special evening of music from the iconic performer?s multi-platinum recording career, Friday, July 17, and Saturday, July 18, at 8:30 p.m. The first half of the concert, performed by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra (HBO), features an unexpected mix of movie scores and other eclectic selections chosen by Campbell and Hill. No strangers to each other, Hill and Campbell?s previous collaborations include her 2002 release, Cry, Christmas CD, Joy to the World, and Hill?s recording of the Oscar-nominated ?There You?ll Be,? from the Pearl Harbor soundtrack, arranged and conducted by Campbell. For the second half of the concert, Hill joins the orchestra to delight the audience with some of her best-loved No. 1 hits from her multi-platinum career, including ?Breathe,? ?This Kiss,? ?The Way You Love Me,? ?Cry? and ?Piece of My Heart.?

Taylor Hicks had a surprise in store for the audience attending last Saturday evening's performance June 6th with prop that stopped the show with laughter and applause. While on stage in Appleton, Wisconsin (the CHEESE state), Hicks decided to surprise the local audience when he appears from inside the ice cream cone by wearing a cheese hat!

SIRIUS XM Radio's On Broadway channel will feature extensive Tony Awards programming now through the 63rd annual ceremony on Sunday, June 7. Listeners will hear a special live Tony Awards broadcast hosted by SIRIUS XM hosts Seth Rudetsky and Julie James. In addition to play-by-play commentary and music from the award-winning shows, the special will include exclusive comments from Sir Elton John, composer of the music of Billy Elliot The Musical, which received fifteen nominations, in addition to the premiere of a performance of ?Electricity? by Sir Elton John himself.

Hosted by BMI President & CEO Del Bryant and BMI Vice President & General Manager, Writer/Publisher Relations, Los Angeles, Barbara Cane, the invitation-only event will also honor the songwriters and publishers of the past year's most-performed pop songs in the United States.
