R&B vocalist Brian McKnight has spent the better part of the last two decades on top of the charts, churning out one romantic hit after another for the Mercury, Motown, Warner Bros. and E1 Music labels. The multi-instrumentalist and 16-time Grammy nominee will explore some relatively new musical territory as a frontman for The Duke Ellington Orchestra from May 16 - 18 at the Blue Note. The Ellington Orchestra will perform without McKnight on May 19.

Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks will perform at the Emelin Theatre on Sunday April 22 at 8 pm. Currently on a national tour, Dan Hicks will play songs from its most recent hit studio album, Tangled Tales (Surfdog Records). Dan will also debut a few brand new songs. The Paramount Theater is presenting the nostalgic jukebox revue Route 66 for a nine-week run, four shows a week, in the intimate, 216-seat Copley Theater. Tickets are on sale now for Paramount's production of Roger Bean's Route 66, a jukebox comedy about a gang of rowdy Chicago service station attendants who take an imaginary Chicago to L.A. road trip singing tunes by Willie Nelson, Woody Guthrie, Roger Miller and The Beach Boys, just to name a few. As announced on "American Idol" last night, Taylor Hicks, winner of the show's fifth season, will have an eight-week engagement headlining at Bally's Las Vegas beginning Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Hicks will play in The Indigo at Bally's Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7 p.m.

TV Land announced today that the beloved casts of 'Laverne & Shirley' (Penny Marshall, Cindy Williams, Michael McKean and David L. Lander) and 'One Day At A Time' (Valerie Bertinelli, Bonnie Franklin, Mackenzie Phillips, Glenn Scarpelli and Pat Harrington Jr.) as well as pop culture phenomenon 'Pee-wee's Playhouse' will be honored at the 'TV Land Awards' 10th Anniversary celebration. The star-studded awards show, which honors classic television, film and music icons, will be held at the Lexington Avenue Armory at Gramercy Park on Saturday, April 14th and air on Sunday, April 29th at 9pm ET/PT.
