Two years in the works, Ronnie Milsap: The Duets (Riser House/Sony) is done, and slated for release at the top of the new year. Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden today announced that husband-and-wife team Emilio and Gloria Estefan are the next recipients of the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. The honorees represent two historic firsts for the prize – the first time it has been awarded to a married couple or to musicians-songwriters of Hispanic descent.

Fans of Tim Burton's 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' will now have another chance to celebrate the film's 25th anniversary with Disney In Concert at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday, October 28th at 7:30 pm. Los Angeles' reigning Pumpkin King, Danny Elfman, will return to the Hollywood Bowl performing his role of Jack Skellington singing live to film for a very special screening of Disney's timeless holiday classic on October 26, 27 & 28. The immersive experience will include live scenery projections, live orchestra, spectacular guest artists, and an all-star cast. Elfman will be joined by other original cast members including Catherine O'Hara (Sally) and Ken Page (Oogie Boogie) who headlined the opening production, which sold out two nights over Halloween weekend at the Hollywood Bowl in 2015 and returned for 3 nights in 2016 due to popular demand.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Booker T. Jones will bring his band to Newton North High School on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at 7:30PM.  Proceeds from the "Songs and Stories from the Birth of Soul' concert will support the work of Historic Newton. Berkshire Theatre Group welcomes The Glen Campbell Xperience, celebrating the life and work of country music legend, Glen Campbell, at The Colonial Theatre on Friday, October 12 at 8pm. Tickets are $25. To honor the life and legacy of Glen Campbell, a portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer's Foundation.

Country music's finest will join ASCAP in honoring GRAMMY, CMA, ACM, AMA and Billboard Award-winning artist and songwriter Lee Ann Womack when she accepts the prestigious ASCAP Golden Note Award at this year's ASCAP Country Music Awards on Monday, November 12. The exclusive, invitation-only gala, which celebrates the songwriters and publishers of ASCAP's most performed country songs of the previous year, will draw hundreds of country songwriters, artists and industry VIPs to the event in downtown Nashville.
