Lovelight, his latest recording, documents the musician's latest incarnation in a decade-long professional career.
Beyonce and co-star Adrien Brody were among those at the Los Angeles premiere for their new film 'Cadillac Records.' The film is about Leonard Chess, the legendary founder of the South Side Chicago blues label Chess Records. The period piece follows the rise and fall of Chess Records, which launched the careers of such R&B greats as Muddy Waters, Etta James and Chuck Berry.
According to BlackFilm.com: Beyonce has been cast to play famed singer Etta James on Darnell Martin's next film, Cadillac Records, along-side Cedric the Entertainer and Adrien Brody.
Variety reports that 'Hot Feet' will try out at the National Theater in Washington, D.C. from March 18-April 9, followed by previewing on Broadway April 15 for an April 30th opening.
