Syfy will kick off the spring season with a powerhouse lineup of scripted and unscripted programming led by the groundbreaking transmedia event Defiance (April 15) and the Season 4.5 return of Warehouse 13 (April 29), as well as the debut of the new reality series Deep South Paranormal (April 10).

International publisher Samhain Publishing this week announced that author John Everson has been nominated for a 2012 Bram Stoker for Superior Achievement in a Novel. Everson's novel, NIGHTWHERE, joins a list of only five novels in the Final Ballot for this year's award. Winners will be announced at the 26th annual Bram Stoker Awards Banquet, held during the World Horror Convention in New Orleans on June 15, 2013.

Tina Fey stopped by last night's LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN on CBS to promote her new movie Admission. After the host complimented her performance as co-host of the Golden Globe Awards, he asked if she and Amy Poehler might consider reteaming for the Academy Awards as well.

Despite the fact that Tina Fey received rave reviews from her stint as emcee of this year's Golden Globe Awards, the 30 Rock star revealed to The Huffington Post that she has no interest in taking on hosting duties at next year's Academy Awards.
