A pair of Elizabethan playwrights attempts to write the world's first musical in this rousing new show.

Artistic Director Darko Tresnjak, the Tony Award winner for Best Director of a Musical for A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, will anchor Hartford Stage's 2015-16 season from May 12-June 5, 2016, with the world premiere of a new musical, Anastasia, inspired by the real life Royal Anastasia Romanov and the enduring mystery of her true identity.

Animus Theatre Company is pleased to announce Collected Shorts by Tennessee Williams (The Long Goodbye, Moony's Kid Don't Cry, The Pink Bedroom, and Talk to Me Like the Rain and Let Me Listen) as their 2014-2015 Workshop Production and final production of the season. Marking the New York theatre directorial debut for acclaimed actor Matthew Lillard, the show will feature Eric William Morris. Stage Left Theatre announces their upcoming production of All's Well That Ends Well written by William Shakespeare and directed by ensemble member Drew Martin. The music of composer Joel Feigin will be performed by the Elaris Duo, violinist Larisa Elisha and cellist Steven Elisha, on Saturday, May 2 at 7:30 PM in Mary Flagler Cary Hall of The DiMenna Center for Classical Music, 450 West 37th Street in New York, New York. This concert is presented as a fundraiser for Sandy Hook Promise, which was created in response to the Newtown, Connecticut school shootings.

Chicago's Walkabout Theater Company, joins forces with international theater and music exchange organization Moon Fool, to present the Chicago premiere of STORM, a fierce re-imagining of William Shakespeare's The Tempest created and directed by Anna-Helena McLean, with new writing by Rosanna Lowe and featuring actors from three continents. STORM will play June 18 - 28, 2015 at Links Hall, 3111 N. Western Ave. in Chicago. Tickets are currently available at www.linkshall.org. The press opening is Thursday, June 18 at 7 pm.
